As a hardcore insomniac, I recently got pretty deep into the ambient works of Steve Roach as a sleep aid. Who would have thought Blood Incantation's Paul Riedl would not only be influenced by but produce an album that stands on equal footing with some of Roach's masterworks like "Return To The Dreamtime" and "Tomorrow." An extraordinary accomplishment.

Word on the street is that the new Blood Incantation double album has a heavy ambient component to it - which kind of makes the mind spin, right? Maybe I'm off base & the next BI album will be a straight DM classic. But just trying to prepare you in advance for February when "Timewave Zero" hits...
